The Mining Division, located in Goa's rich iron ore belt, is one of the most modern and mechanised mining complexes in India. Using three sophisticated plants, the division produces and exports over 5 million tons of the finest iron ore and iron ore pellets per annum, all around the globe. The division also operates mines in Karnataka.
Chowgule Steamships was founded in 1963, with the objective of meeting the transportation requirements of the Chowgule Group. Today, it partakes in global trade through its fleet of 5 Handysize vessels totaling 170,639 DWT. These young bulk carriers carry goods internationally serving the tramp trade for reputed charterers.
Originally the logistics support arm of the group, today Chowgule Brothers provides port agency services across all ports in India. Additionally, it supports the growth of organizations with a completely integrated supply chain solutions, that include warehousing and logistics.
Chowgule Shipbuilding Division is an expert in using Goa’s inland waterways to its advantage. Between the two shipyards, the division can deliver 9 ocean-going, multi-purpose general cargo vessels per year, of up to 7,000 DWT each. To date, over 165 vessels have been built for clients all over India and the world. The division also manufactures key ship components for the Indian Navy.
Located on the western coast, Lavgan Dockyard is an ultra-modern ship repairs initiative of the Chowgule Group. The state-of-the-art facility has a Rolls Royce Syncrolift Shiplift System. The yard can handle up to seven dry repairs and two wet repairs simultaneously, making it the only facility of its kind in India. Lavgan Dockyard also plays a key role in the repair of ships for the Coast Guard.
Angre Port, is a state-of-the-art cargo terminal located on India's western coast. The port offers year-round handling and storage facilities for containers, and dry bulk cargo. A draft of 11 meters allows the port to handle vessels of up to 35,000 DWT, including handysize vessels.
The Group's material handling arm sells and services a variety of equipment like truck-mounted cranes, tractor cranes, Handyman pick-up loaders and Baclifts. Truck-mounted cranes command a 60% market share in the Indian private sector, and the division is making inroads in this segment. The team was the first to develop tractor cranes in the country.
Established in 1963, this trading division of the group has successfully set up certified dealerships for sales, services and spares of Maruti Suzuki vehicles, as well as Swaraj Mazda Light commercial vehicles. It is currently one of the top 10 Maruti Suzuki dealers in India.
Two divisions have been set up to resolve niche construction-related problems using products and equipment from Germany. These products include sealants for joints, floors, roofs, terraces and tanks, as well as flooring solutions. Renowned builders, contractors and developer successfully use these to ensure the longevity of their structures.
This company is a leading manufacturer of U.H.P grade industrial and medical oxygen and nitrogen. The entire range of gases include: nitrogen, commercial argon, carbon dioxide, acetylene and nitrous oxide. An extensive dealer network covers South Maharashtra, North Karnataka and the Konkan region.
Established in 1977, the division is spread over 2024 hectares of land near Jamnagar, Gujarat and is amongst the country's leading producers and exporters of industrial salt. Designed to produce 500,000 tonnes per annum of high purity salt, it is the single largest fully mechanised salt works in the country. The salt is exported to countries like Japan, Vietnam, Indonesia, Korea, Qatar and China.
This arm of the Group was founded by a group of experienced healthcare professionals with a view to deliver holistic medical solutions. Merging healthcare with information technology, the organization offers customised IT solutions to individuals, doctors, schools, corporate clients and government health departments.
Keltech is a leading manufacturer of cartridge explosives, bulk emulsion explosives, Mono Methyl Amine Nitrate (MMAN) solutions, and a variety of expanded perlite products, that are exported to a variety of countries globally. This arm of the Group also manufactures tank and artillery ammunition for the Indian Army.
Set up in 2017, this division has best-in-class capabilities to manufacture crafts of upto 20 meters in length and is currently a leading supplier of boats to the Indian military, paramilitary and disaster mitigation forces.
