The pelletization plant was designed and engineered
by Lurgi Chemie GmbH of West Germany. Bulk of equipment was manufactured
and supplied by Voest Alpine AG Austria as licensees of Lurgi GmbH. The
modern plant is a well-conceived industrial unit and incorporates efficient
dedusting and pollution control measures.
The required plant and machinery modifications were carried out progressively. The Company can now procure and process different grades of iron ores and blend them in different proportions to produce different grade of pallets such as Blast Furnace (BF) grade / Direct Reduction (DR) grade pallets demanded by the customers.
A very systematic quality control ensures the stringent quality requirements
of the customers, right from the stage of procurement of iron ore and
other raw materials through different sections of plant opration till the
final stage of shipments.
